The site had been built by a well known WordPress hosting company who were not only charging a hefty annual fee for managed hosting, but also not providing adequate support once the site had been launched.
Tom & Hayley had a fresh design for their site and were looking to add the option for direct accommodation booking. They had no hesitation in asking me to carry out the website refresh for Hill Farm Tintern.
Hayley & Tom approached me asking about updating their existing website. Their business was fairly new at the time and they were looking to increase bookings on to their retreats.
The website had been build to provide a database of experiences, submitted by gardeners and farmers around the world. The code was written several years previously with an old version of PHP and sorely needed updating.
